How to Pay Registration Fees via GCash
- DTI registration fee can be paid directly online through the BNRS portal at bnrs.dti.gov.ph using GCash or a debit/credit card.
- Barangay clearance and Mayor’s Permit fees are usually paid in person at your city or municipal hall, though some LGUs now accept GCash through their own portals.
- For BIR Form 0605, open GCash, tap Pay Bills, select Government, then BIR, and choose Form 0605 as the form type.
- Always keep official receipts for every payment. You will need these for your BIR registration application.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Registering with DTI before checking name availability. Always search your desired business name on bnrs.dti.gov.ph first to avoid wasted fees on a rejected application.
- Skipping the Barangay Clearance step. Most cities require this before they will even accept your Mayor’s Permit application.
- Underestimating the Mayor’s Permit fee. Some cities base this on your declared capital or projected sales, so a higher declaration means a higher fee.
- Forgetting BIR registration entirely. DTI and Mayor’s Permit do not automatically register you with BIR. This is a separate step at your RDO.
